We've had a couple of trips to Mount Charleston (about an hour's drive away) to visit some good friends there. It's always interesting to see the countryside change...
from rocks and desert and joshua trees...
to gradually more vegetation...
to pine tree forests.
The kids loved these big "puffballs".
We all enjoyed the fresh air.
And wildflowers..
Some of the local village.We all enjoyed hiking too...
