What we've been doing...

Summer took this photo of the boys coming down the slide at Mountain Crest Park. We were there playing with my wonderful friend Cat and her 4 beautiful children. Cat and I have been friends since our oldest children were toddlers. I'm going to miss her (and her kids) a lot when we go back to Oz.

The water feature at the park is a lot of fun.

AJ liked putting a plastic cup over one of the water fountains and watching it shoot up.

Another day we went to Boulder City to some of our favourite places from when we lived there. One of my fav's is the labyrinth. Such a peaceful place. It's in the grounds of the Catholic Church there. Nearby is a waterfall structure and the sound of that and the calm music that is piped through the grounds enhances the experience of the walk.

We stopped at Hemenway Park in Boulder City to see if there were any Big Horn Sheep around and we did see some. They are wild, but they don't mind people as long as they don't get too close.

Another day we went to the Hoover Dam. It was very hot and there were a ton of people there so we didn't get out and walk over it. We just stopped at one of the lookouts on the Arizona side.

Here are the kids with Lake Mead in the background. Amazing how far water levels have dropped.

Summer took this of the boys and I with the new bridge over the dam in construction behind us.

AJ with a different part of Lake Mead behind him. We went to the marina that you can see...

and fed the very hungry fish...
